How I Work
I am an integrative counsellor and some of the therapeutic modalities I deliver sessions in are person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT and transactional analysis.
A E P R M R Methodology Process
- Assess - why have you come to therapy? / How do you think you can benefit from therapy? / What are your goals? / What are the barriers to achieving your goal?
- Explore - Help you form notice what is going on for you right now and how it affects your life leading to uncovering the underlying issues i.e. what lead you to the addiction.
- Process - Dive further into the underlying issues that lead you to the addiction, anxiety or the particular issue you are facing right now.
- Rediscover - Rediscover who you are. Do you feel connected to your true authentic self? What are your interests that you can reconnect with to start bringing your true authentic self back?
- Mindset Shift - Clients often experience a mindset shift once they have had a chance to do the steps above that is explore, process and rediscover. Think of it like having a good cry or a good gym session you will leave feeling refreshed, with a new lease of life this can also be experienced with therapy through taking these steps outlined with the help of a therapist. It may feel hard in-between and you may feel like giving up however if you stick with it and get to the end of the rediscover step then you could leave feeling renewed.
- Reassess - work on self never stops, we are always changing and growing and what works at one point in time may not in years to come. In this part we will work together in figuring out what to do if something is not working for you or if you have been doing a particular thing for a while e.g. reading but you feel it is not working for you anymore and feel like a change is necessary. Often a lot of the time we will get into an habit of doing one particular thing and even though it feels good at one point in time it could be that, that feeling fades yet you are stuck in the loop of continuing on the same thing over and over again hoping it will give you that same feeling again. In this case a change may be necessary and we can explore this in therapy.
The above does not guarantee any outcome nor is the timeline the same for everybody it is merely just a general guide of what we may cover during our sessions together.

I work with individual adults who are experiencing addiction, workplace stress, relationship issues alongside more.
Businesses / EAPs
I also work with businesses and EAPs who are able to refer me clients, some of which are in the space of personal injury rehabilitation delivering the modalities of CBT, person-centred, psychodynamic and transactional analysis.
All sessions take place remotely and a service agreement contract can be provided from my end.
